The Queen to our King Barolo, this elegant nebbiolo is lively and balanced. Visually our Barbaresco is a light ruby with strong hues of garnet. Bouquet of bright cherry, violets, white pepper, and anise; notable aromatic herbs of sage, wild mint, and laurel. Tannins are graceful and represent an elegant wine to be enjoyed now. This beautiful wine is reminiscence of a great red Burgundy

Vineyard Notes
Grapes are sourced from the Southeast facing Ronchi vineyard in the Barbaresco township. The Southeastern exposure allows for a cooler site, even in the warmest vintages, resulting in fresh elegance. Low sand content in the soil gives focused fruit with silky, dusty tannin.
Production Notes
Fruit is harvested by hand before being cold macerated for 24 hours. 12-day fermentation with pump over at key points in the fermentation process. Natural malolactic fermentation occurs in a temperature-controlled environment before 12 months in large 25 hectoliter barrels made of Allier and Slavonian oak wood, followed by 14 months in concrete. The wine is finished in the bottle for an additional 12 months in Denver.
